Bret Hart comments on Chris Benoit's death

Bret Hart spoke to the Calgary Sun about the death of Chris Benoit and his family.

Benoit had trained with the Hart family, and was considered to be family by many within the Hart family. After the tragic death of Bret's brother Owen on May 23, 1999, when Owen Hart fell to his death in a tragic accident in Kansas City, Missouri, Bret chose Benoit as his opponent to do a tribute match for Owen when they were in Kansas City later that year.

"I don't know the details, and I'm not sure I even want to know," said Hart, just hours after learning of the discovery of Benoit's body — along with those of his wife and son — in his suburban Atlanta home.

"He was like a family member to me, and everyone in my family is taking it real hard.

"It's almost like reliving the whole Owen (Hart) death over again."
