Update On Trish Stratus, Vengeance PPV, Vince/Linda, RVD, 'Mania Setup

  • Trish Stratus has been doing some wrestling as of late for a Canadian television show. The show may be shown in the United States on The Discovery Channel or the Travel Channel. She has been filming in Finland and Iceland.
  • From Michael Carpenter: Tickets for the 6/29 Vengeance PPV at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX go on sale 5/17. Tickets range from $25 to $250.
  • According to a recent article in The New York Times, Vince & Linda McMahon's home in Greenwich, CT is on ten acres of land and altogether worth $40 million. In the story, they noted that Vince sent Linda some yellow roses for Valentine's Day. Reportedly, WWE wanted that part included in their story on the McMahon's to counter obvious rumors people would think with McMahon recently buying a penthouse suite from Donald Trump. WWE never wanted the info on McMahon buying a penthouse suite from Trump revealed out of fear that it would affect WWE stock prices. Officials perceived the Trump side as the people leaking out the info on McMahon buying a suite.
  • Rob Van Dam will be in Portugal at the end of the month. RVD faces Raven and Chris Moore (Masters) on 3/28 and 3/29.
  • As noted earlier this morning, WrestleMania ticket sales are now at 63,000 sold. The Citrus Bowl stadium attendance record is 73,358 due to football. Unlike football, they're putting seats on the floor, however, WWE's huge WrestleMania stage will offset most of that, so it should be interesting to see if they break the record in the end.
