The Bluefield Daily Telegraph is reporting that independent wrestling promoter Ernest Mack Shell, 31, of London, Kentucky was arrested on Saturday night after promoting an event in Brushford, West Virginia. In a story that happens all too often, Shell did not have the money to pay the booked wrestlers on the show. Deputy W.E. Rose of the Mercer County Sheriff's Department was hired to work security for the show, in his off hours, but he ended up arresting Shell. A booking agent informed Rose that the wrestlers were confronting Shell about their pay, who also warned that Shell may try to sneak out without paying the wrestlers. Rose confronted Shell, who admitted that he did not have the money to pay the wrestlers. He was arrested and charged with 10 counts of obtaining services on false pretenses and could face additional charges. Wrestlers booked for the show were Jim Neidhart, Chase Stevens, April Hunter, Diamond Dallas Page and others. You can check out the full article at https://bdtonline.com/
