– Julius Smokes worked NYC as one shot deal. He was there to help push the Homicide vs. Jon Moxley feud.

– Overall, Dragon Gate was very happy about the new direction that the company took this weekend. The goal was to put the American and the Japanese talent on equal footing. CIMA, who helped found the company, put Johnny Gargano over clean via submission to put forth a message to the rest of the locker room.

– People that were there live enjoyed the promotion's debut in New York City at BB Kings. Many enjoyed the venue and felt that it was fresh. Theyran the entire show without stopping for two hours and 15 minutes straight, with no intermission and each segment bleeding into the next. Sapolsky stated that it was a concept he's been wanting to do since ROH but never had the right time or place to test it until New York City. He did this so that there were no delays in the action. He feels that this is a concept that they can run occasionally in order to present things differently. The pacing of the show had nothing to do with the venue or the fact that there was a show scheduled for after the DGUSA event.
