RAW opens with a lengthy recap of the Kevin Nash – Triple H – CM Punk storyline. Punk's music hits and we're off!

Punk sits in the ring and talks about how he's different and how it makes him a target because he pisses a lot of people off. He says he'll wrestle R-Truth tonight, but he'd rather kick Kevin Nash in the face. He says Nash is the status quo, and how he looks and acts the same since the 90s. Punk says that he believes Nash and HHH are still buddies and expects him to have Triple H's back at NOC. He then challenges Nash to come out and face him like a man. The nWo theme hits and Nash comes out.

Nash says he doesn't listen to Punk and he does what he wants, like last Monday when he stuck him last week. Punk goes through Nash's nicknames in the past, and says that Nash is full of excuses. Nash said that he always leaves Punk laying. Punk rips on when Nash was last relevant, saying he couldn't drive back then. Nash started walking down the aisle. Before Nash could get to the ring, Triple H's music hits.

HHH stands next to Punk and Nash starts yelling about how Triple H needs to get rid of Punk, and that he's a cancer. Triple H gets in the ring and says that there was security footage from SummerSlam, and that the Nash sent the text to himself. Nash gets in the ring and admits it, and says that he did what Triple H should have done and said that he did what HHH should have done and he made WWE cool again. Nash says the WWE Universe isn't big enough for the both of them and either he or Punk have to leave. Triple H says that Nash has done nothing but lie to him, and is about to fire Nash when Nash interrupts. Nash is furious that HHH would pick Punk over him. Nash asks if this is over him pushing him last week, but he got emotional and he thought friends can do that. He then asked HHH what he's going to do about it. Nash then starts pushing Hunter, and Triple H decks him and Nash hits the mat. Triple H then tells Nash that he's fired and leaves the ring. Punk is laughing at Nash in the ring, and wishes Nash the best of luck in his future endeavors as we head to commercial.

Back from commercial and Nash enters a limo. John Laurinaitis leaves with him.

Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston head to the ring.

Air Boom vs. Jinder Mahal and The Great Khali
Air Boom won the match clean after Khali accidentally hit Mahal with a chop, and Bourne followed up with Air Bourne to get the win.

Alberto Del Rio arrives backstage.

Kelly Kelly's music hits and she heads to ringside for commentary.

#1 Contender Diva's Match
Eve vs. Beth Phoenix

Natalya joins Kelly, Lawler, Ross and Cole on commentary. Phoenix won the match clean with the Glam Slam. After the match, Natalya blindsided Kelly. Natalya celebrated in the ring with Phoenix while Kelly and Eve were left lying outside of the ring.

Punk vs. R-Truth is hyped for tonight.

The Rock is congratulated for reaching 1,000,000 followers on Facebook and Lawler said that Survivor Series will be electrifying.

Drew McIntyre is backstage talking to Christian. Alberto Del Rio interferes and says that Christian isn't champ because of John Cena. Christian said he's not going to do Del Rio's dirty work. Del Rio said that all he's saying is that it's because of Cena that he's not champion.

A promo for Triple H's new movie Inside Out aired.

R-Truth and The Miz are shown heading to the ring, and Truth will face CM Punk next.

R-Truth's music hits. As he's heading to the ring, he asks how CM Punk can say he's different. He says that he'll have to be a good R-Truth and buy a ticket for NOC. Miz's music hits and he says that there is a conspiracy and that HHH is in way over his head as COO. Miz says HHH is more concerned that his friends have air time than putting them in matches. Miz says that they will face Air Boom at NOC, and says that Air Boom is the stupidest name he's ever heard. Truth finishes by saying that Punk is about to get got. There were a couple of cheesy parts, but overall another entertaining segment with Miz and Truth.

CM Punk vs. R-Truth

Miz managed to sneak in some cheap shots on Punk in the match. At one point, Miz grabbed Punk's leg and Truth kicked Punk. The referee then sent Miz to the back. Moments later, Punk hit Truth with the GTS to get the clean win. Punk didn't celebrate long as Triple H's music hit and he headed to the ring.

Punk said that he didn't buy HHH punching Nash. HHH said that Nash was gone and that if Punk wanted change, he got it and he changed their match at NOC. He said that Punk made their issues personal and he wants to hurt Punk bad, and it will be no DQ at NOC. He said that Punk better hope that he gets it all out of his system or he might fire him too.

Punk said he's happy with no DQ if he agrees to resign as COO of WWE if Punk wins. Triple H agrees and leaves.

Backstage Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins are talking to Wade Barrett when Alberto Del Rio interrupts. Reks and Hawkins leave, and Del Rio tells Wade Barrett that Cena embarrassed him last week. Barrett told Del Rio to watch what he does tonight and walks off. Del Rio smirks.

A promo airs hyping the WWE network coming in 2012.

A recap of David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty's problems with Jerry Lawler was shown. Otunga and McGillicutty are in the ring.

Lawler comes out and says that Otunga and McGillicutty have no personality, while his tag team partner does. He then introduces his partner, Zack Ryder! A video package of Ryder is shown.

Ryder got the win for his team after hitting Rough Ryder on Otunga.

Backstage Del Rio approaches Dolph Ziggler and says that there is a rumor that Vickie Guerrero is ready to dump him after he lost to Orton last week. Ziggler said he heard a rumor that Del Rio was scared of Cena. The Bellas walk by and tell Del Rio that they will be waiting for him. Del Rio then chides Ziggler for not doing anything to Cena after all of his comments about Vickie and leaves.

Orton pinned Slater clean with the RKO.

Backstage Ryder is giddy to John Cena over his win. Cena stops Ryder, and asks "what kind of idiot wears sunglasses inside," taking a shot at the Rock. He then says he's kidding and heads to the ring.

John Cena's music hits and heads to the ring. Cena says the Del Rio has been ducking him and will likely have an excuse for not fighting him. Ricardo Rodriguez comes on stage and introduces Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio takes the mic and says that he's been trying to give Cena a fighting chance and mentions how he took Mysterio out. He said he's trying to protect Cena and calls out his amigos. Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler and Christian hit the ring to attack Cena. Sheamus, Alex Riley and John Morrison hit the ring to make the save and they clear the ring of the heels. Teddy Long's music hits and says that all eight men will face off in an eight man tag team elimination match, and it's next.

Eight Man Tag Team Elimination Match
John Cena, Sheamus, Alex Riley and John Morrison vs. Jack Swagger, Christian, Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett

Morrison is the first one out, tapping to Jack Swagger's ankle lock. Vickie heads to the ring with a smile on her face as we go to commercial. Swagger tagged himself in while Ziggler was working over Ryder. Swagger then eliminated Ryder, again with the ankle lock. Sheamus eliminated Barrett after hitting the Brogue kick. Christian slapped Sheamus and Sheamus chased him around the arena and fought him to the back, causing both to be counted out.

It's now Ziggler and Swagger vs. Cena. Loud dueling "Let's go Cena" / "Cena Sucks" chants. Ziggler and Swagger start arguing and Cena hits the AA on Ziggler, eliminating him from the match.

Swagger immediately locks in the ankle lock on Cena. Cena countered and locked in an STF on Swagger. Swagger promptly tapped, causing Cena to win the match.

Immediately afterward, Del Rio ambushed Cena, but was met with an AA. Ricardo Rodriguez helped Del Rio to the back while Cena celebrated.
