Lots Of Backstage News From Last Night's DGUSA

Here are some bits of news and notes from last night's Dragon Gate USA Internet PPV.

Paul London was almost Rich Swann's replacement but had a prior engagement when he was contacted by the promotion. Scorpio Sky ended up filling the role. Colt Cobana was also discussed for the match. There is heat on Swann for missing his flight since it was the first time the promotion had to fly him somewhere.

The replay of the iPPV is available online. There were technical issues last night, including losing the feed for five minutes. There were also issues with one of the hard cameras not working but the promotion will edit around the issues for the DVD release.

Low Ki was well received in the locker room last night. He watched all of the matches to give advice to the younger roster members. Low Ki vs CIMA was teased for Wrestlemania weekend in Miami, but isn't confirmed.

Johnny Gargano is cleared to begin training again and will likely return in time for the shows in Miami.

DGUSA is still putting together a third date for the Miami weekend.

There were no injuries last night.

Overall, DGUSA was happy with the turnout and crowd response for their first Los Angeles show.

There was talk in the locker room about WWE being interested in several DGUSA talents. Gabe Sapolsky's mindset is that if WWE wants them, he will let them out of their deals as it only creates awareness that DGUSA is somewhere guys can come to get noticed.
