Hulk Hogan Says He Lost Out On Match With John Cena, Mr. Anderson Talks TNA Changes

- As noted earlier, Hulk Hogan is suing the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa, Florida for $50 million, claiming that the clinic performed unnecessary surgeries in 2009 that harmed his already injured back. Hogan alleged that the surgeries resulted in "a provable loss of past and future income of ($50 million) during the last chapter of an internationally successful athletic and entertainment career."

In an update, TMZ reports that Hogan's team claims that the surgeries prevented a career-ending match with John Cena from taking place.

- Mr. Anderson joined the 4th & Pain podcast earlier this week to discuss the state of TNA in 2013 and the NFL playoffs. During the interview, Anderson told a story about taping a segment for Impact a couple weeks ago in which he encouraged his wife to tell her grandmother not to watch the show. He was concerned about them seeing girls sitting in his lap and playing with a beer bottle. After the segment aired, his wife watched it on the DVR and promptly invited her mother to watch as well, and they were not too thrilled.

Anderson also said that a lack of long-term planning has been killing the wrestling business, and that TNA is taking the time to look into the future and develop well thought out story lines. You can check out the interview below:
