- WWE posted the video above earlier this week of Bruno Sammartino appearing on Piper's Pit in 1985. Piper mentioned the appearance on his Twitter earlier this week and commented on Sammartino being inducted in the WWE Hall Of Fame, writing, "I have nothing but total respect for MR. BRUNO SAMMARTINO. He out ranks me. I love him!... Honest,I'm the only guy that called Bruno a Wop! Took some balls! He's a tough guy! His comb over hair stood straight up & his eyes crossed!"
