Why he doesn't believe in Kevin Steen's recent "change of heart," leading into their Ring of Honor World Championship Match tonight in Chicago at ROH's 11th Anniversary Show: "I'm not believing it for a second. He is just telling everybody what they want to hear, and I'm quite frankly tired of it."

His thoughts on his career coming full circle and why he never thought he would have left TNA: "To be brutally honest, I was blindsided by the fact that I was with TNA. I had the greatest match of my life against Ric Flair. I would have never thought in a million years that I would be leaving there. But unfortunately, things happen for a reason. Now, I'm glad to say I'm back in Ring of Honor, where you could say it all started for me."

The significance of next month's "Supercard of Honor VIII" weekend in New York City for himself, especially if he becomes the ROH World Champion: "It would mean the world to me. I've said it before: Being the face of the company would be such an honor. It is one of the highest honors in any company. You are the number one guy, and to be able to say that for the first time would be one of my highest achievements among the list of achievements I've been able to accomplish in this short career that I've had."

Much more is contained in Jay Lethal's exclusive interview with Monday Night Mayhem, including his candid thoughts on why becoming "the face of Ring of Honor" drives him to be the best, the message he wants to personally send to Nigel McGuinness tonight in Chicago, why he is glad his ROH World Title Match with Kevin Steen is taking place on neutral ground and more.
