ROH News: Wolves Take On ReDRagon, WGTT To Fight Each Other, More

- ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness has just announced that on April 5th, for Supercard of Honor IV, former tag team partners Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin will be competing in single action against one another. Haas had this to say to ROHWrestling.com:

"That piece of s**** won't be there. He's a coward, a failure, and damn noose around my neck. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team my ass! Should have called the team Charlie Haas and Wrestling's Greatest Leech! I could have had the same damn success with Cheeseburger as my partner, with Bobby Cruise as my partner, with pretty much any damn person on the Earth as my partner. Shelty doesn't have the guts to show up in New York, his tail is firmly tucked between his legs right next to **********************!"

- On March 30th, live from Asheville, NC, newly crowned tag team champions reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) will defend their titles against Alabama Attitude (Mike Posey and Corey Hollis).

ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness had this to say to ROHWrestling.com: "Posey and Hollis have been an impressive pair. In their previous ROH appearances they have certainly stepped up their game each and every match, and held their own against reDRagon on TV earlier this year. This is Mike and Corey's chance to shock the world, just like Tadarius Thomas nearly did in Dearborn against Kevin Steen. All it takes is one win to erase the word underdog mates, and replace it with the word champion."

- On April 5th for Supercard of Honor IV, The American Wolves will challenge reDRagon (or Alabama Attitude if they are successful) for the ROH World Tag Team Titles. Regardless of what happens during that match, ROH officials have announced that the teams will face each other in singles competition.

The matches will take place on Saturday, April 6th from ROH's TV taping in New York. Davey Richards will face off against Kyle O'Reilly, and Bobby Fish will go one on one with Eddie Edwards.

Edwards had this to say to ROHWrestling.com: "Here's my honest look at this. I spent too much of 2011 wrapped up in fighting with my friend, my brother, Davey Richards and it nearly cost us that bond. It took almost a year, but we mended that fence and The American Wolves are stronger for it. Now I'm looking at another friend in Fish who's kind of been that guy for me during our NOAH tours. The guy who has fought by my side in their rings, endured that grueling traveling schedule alongside me, and now he's spitting in The Wolves face. Bobby, our bond doesn't run deep enough for me to hesitate to chop your face off and in New York, one day after Davey and I squash your tag title reign, I will do just that!"
