Dolph Ziggler Loses Days Of His Memory, Talks His Concussion And What Caused It

WWE.com has posted an interview with World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, who provided an update after suffering a concussion at Tuesday's SmackDown taping in Raleigh, NC. Ziggler told the site that he doesn't remember RAW on Monday night or any of Tuesday, and that he doesn't remember travelling from RAW to SmackDown. He did say that he remembered AJ and Big E. Langston taking him to the airport. He also noted that the concussion was caused by a kick from Jack Swagger.

"I was told I interfered in a match and tried to get my hands on a ladder," said Ziggler. "When I bent over to grab it, Jack Swagger kicked me in the head... When I asked, over and over, what happened, AJ told me that Swagger kicked me in the head. Apparently, all I said was 'classic Swags.'"

Ziggler is at home recovering and said that he he was feeling a "lot better today." He admitted to having a slight headache today, while having a bad one yesterday. He also noted that this was the worst concussion that he has ever suffered, and it was the first time that he has lost his memory. He also said that he was diagnosed by a a Phoenix Suns doctor with retrograde amnesia, and he will be seeing him again in a couple of days and may need a scan.

Despite the seriousness of his concussion, Ziggler said that he expects to be back in action soon.
