Details From Ceremony Honoring Booker T Before Tonight's WWE SmackDown Tapings

Michael Cole, Booker T, Booker's wife Sharmell, Houston city officials, students from Booker T's wrestling school and around 150 fans gathered outside of the Toyota Center in Houston this evening for a 15 minute ceremony to honor Booker T before tonight's SmackDown tapings. It was officially declared Booker T Day.

After Cole and others spoke, Booker talked about growing up in Houston and getting where he is now. Booker thanked everyone for supporting him. Fans chanted Booker's name as he and Sharmell left for the building.
