WWE NXT Recap: Dallas Defends Against Neville, Paige Defends Against Natalya, Cesaro, More

NXT opens with a WWE.com exclusive video from last week. Antonio Cesaro telling William Regal not to stick his nose in his business or it won't end well. Leo Kruger walks up and tells Cesaro that he pushed him to a place he's never been. He has a proposition for Cesaro, and says that he could be a Real American. Kruger brings up Cesaro's problems with Sami Zayn. Cesaro says he can talk to Zeb Colter about Kruger, but first he has to do him a favor. They look at the camera suspiciously and Cesaro whispers something in his ear.

Byron Saxton, Alex Riley, and Renee Young are on commentary.

Natalya comes down to the ring.

NXT Women's Championship
Paige (c) vs. Natalya

They shake hands aggressively before the match. Natalya locks in a side headlock and takes Paige to the mat. Paige gets out and locks in a side headlock of her own. She locks in Natalya's arm. Natalya reverses out and flips Paige to the mat. She locks Paige's arm in. Paige lands a headbutt and gets a roll up. She goes for another pin attempt, but Natalya reverses out and lands a backslide pin attempt. Natalya trips Paige to the mat and locks in a leg submission. Paige reverses and locks in Natalya's head. Natalya gets out and tosses Paige to the mat, locking her head back in in the process. Paige gets out, but Natalya hits a shoulder tackle. Natalya gets a roll up and tries to lock in the Sharpshooter. Paige crawls to the ropes before she can lock it in and goes to the outside as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Paige aggressively attacks Natalya in the corner. Paige lands her signature corner boot stomps and locks in Natalya's head from behind. She slams Natalya to the mat by her head and gets a one count. Paige locks in an abdominal stretch. She clubs Natalya in the side. Natalya counters and locks in an abdominal stretch of her own. She pulls back Paige's leg. Paige fights out and slams Natalya's head repeatedly into the bottom turnbuckle. She hits Natalya with her boot stomps again and Natalya goes to the apron. Paige kicks her in the gut, pulls her partway through the ropes and knees her in the gut. Natalya grabs her leg, comes inside, and hits a dragon screw.

Natalya stomps on Paige multiple times. She whips Paige. They both go for a crossbody and collide with one another. Paige goes for a leg drop, but Natalya moves and hits a clothesline. She slaps Paige and lands a vertical Suplex. Natalya lands a sit out body slam. Paige comes back with a knee to the face. She charges Natalya, and Natalya hits a discus clothesline. Paige kicks out at two. Natalya locks in the Sharpshooter. She crawls for the ropes, but Natalya pulls her back to the center of the ring. Paige somersaults forward, breaking the submission and sending Natalya into the turnbuckle. Natalya gets to her feet and tries to grab Paige, but Paige hits the Paige Turner out of nowhere for the win.

Paige hugs Natalya after the match and Natalya raises her arm.

Then, Lana and Alexander Rusev are backstage talking. Tyler Breeze walks up and thanks Rusev for helping him last week. Breeze insults Ohno, and Lana interrupts him. She tells him that Rusev thanks him for his graciousness, but he can leave. Breeze tries to invite them to something, but she shoos him off.

Back from commercial, and Mojo Rawley is asked by the new male backstage interviewer if he is still hyped since his debut. Rawley says he doesn't get hype. He stays hype. Rawley is more motivated now that he has had a few matches. He wants to be the NXT Champion one day, because that will lead him to RAW or Smackdown. Sylvester LeFort and Scott Dawson walk up and LeFort says that he can make all of Rawley's dreams come true. LeFort says he can make him lots of money. Rawley says that he knows who LeFort is, the guy that's been stiffing Dawson's paychecks every week. He has seen managers like him in his football career, and he's only hurting Dawson's career.

Dawson says that LeFort looks out for him, even though some of his paychecks never came. LeFort assures him that the money is on the way. Dawson says they should all make money together and challenges Rawley to match next week. Rawley says he stays hype and walks off.

Aiden English vs. Jobber with a ponytail

They exchange reversals. English locks in a side headlock and slams his opponent to the mat. English hits a neckbreaker and several clubbing blows to the back. English lands a big vertical Suplex, followed by the Director's Cut for the win.

Winner: Aiden English

English gives an encore singing performance after the match. He heads up the ramp, and the Real Americans' music hits. Cesaro walks out and gestures English to the back. Cesaro has a microphone, and says that last week he lost his temper and cool with Saxton last week. He calls Saxton over to the stage so that he can apologize like a man. They show footage of what Cesaro did to him last week.

Saxton gets up from commentary and walks over to Cesaro. Cesaro extends his hand to Saxton, and Saxton shakes it. Cesaro says he is sorry, he didn't mean to get angry but Saxton touched his flag. He apologizes to Saxton in five languages and asks him to accept his apology. Saxton thanks him. Cesaro offers Saxton to say we the people with him as a sign of his good will. Saxton doesn't want to do it. He puts his hand over his heart, but when Cesaro says it Saxton does not. Cesaro puts the mic in front of Saxton's face and tells him to do it, and Saxton does it begrudgingly.

Cesaro asks if it's a joke to him. He came out here to apologize to Saxton, and he just makes fun of him. Cesaro gets in his face and rips his blazer off. He asks Saxton where Regal is. Saxton says he doesn't know, and Cesaro calls him useless. He slaps Saxton and Saxton tumbles down the ramp.

Then, another WWE.com exclusive video from last week is shown where Sami Zayn is asked his thoughts on losing the number one contender's match last week. Zayn doesn't know what to say, but the better man won. It's hard to come so close to the title opportunity and come up short. He says he's not done with the title, and he knows his time will come. Leo Kruger attacks him from behind.

Back from commercial and Tom Phillips is on commentary for Byron Saxton.

Tyson Kidd vs. Leo Kruger

Kidd lands kicks to the leg and a heel kick to the head. He dropkicks Kruger in the head and stomps his chest. Kruger comes back with a strike to the head. He kicks Kidd in the corner. Kidd comes back with a vertical Suplex. He grabs Kruger's legs, and Kruger crawls for the ropes. Kidd lands a swinging neckbreaker. He strikes Kruger in the face and chops his chest in the corner. Kruger stumbles to another corner and Kidd rams his shoulder into Kruger's gut. Kruger counters out with a knee. He slams Kidd head first into the turnbuckle and chokes him with his boot. Kruger lands an uppercut.

Kruger whips Kidd and charges. Kidd puts his boot up, but Kruger catches it on his shoulder and drops down, snapping Kidd's knee. Kruger trips Kidd as things go to commercial. Back from commercial and Kruger has Kidd's leg locked in a submission. He clubs Kidd in the back. Kruger goes for a Suplex, but Kidd counters into a pin attempt. Kruger charges, and Kidd counters into a backslide pin attempt. Kruger smacks Kidd in the jaw. He attacks Kidd's leg again. Kruger lands a dragon screw. Kruger locks in a Sharpshooter. He looks across the ring and Sami Zayn is staring on from the ring apron.

Kruger breaks the submission and stares at Zayn, who is now on the ramp. Kruger approaches the ropes. Kidd grabs Kruger from behind and pins him off the distraction for the win.

Winner: Tyson Kidd

Back from commercial and Sami Zayn vs. Leo Kruger is announced for next week.

Then, another WWE.com exclusive video is shown from last week where Hunico and Camacho are asked for their thoughts on beating the Ascension last week. They say that nothing has been given to them. They take what they want. Next week when they face the Ascension for the titles, they will take the gold.

Bo Dallas (c) vs. Adrian Neville

They lock up and Neville locks in Bo's arm. They chain wrestle for a bit, and Bo rolls to the apron. Bo comes back inside and attacks Neville into the corner. Neville comes back with a crossbody and a dropkick. Bo rolls to the outside. He comes back inside and Neville backs him into the corner. Bo hits an elbow to the head. He charges Neville and hits a forearm as the middle turnbuckle pad falls off. Bo stomps Neville and locks in a cravat. Neville gets to his feet, but Bo power whips him into the corner. He whips Neville into another corner, hits a clothesline, and lands a bulldog.

Neville kicks out at two. Bo lands a body slam. Bo exposes his knee and climbs up top. He yells don't stop bolieveing and leaps off. Neville rolls out of the way. He kicks Bo in the knee repeatedly. Neville lands two leaping forearms and a kick to the face. He dropkicks Bo in the face, and Bo rolls to the outside. Neville takes him out with a dive. He sends Bo back in and gets a near pin fall. Neville lands a body slam and goes up top. Bo rolls to the outside. Neville takes him out with a crossbody. They both writhe around on the floor in pain. They both crawl to get in before the ten count, and at nine Neville slides in and Bo drops to the floor.
