- Chael Sonnen has maintained since agreeing to coach The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil opposite Wanderlei Silva that he wants to bring his former rival Anderson Silva in as an assistant coach on his team. Sonnen insists that he's serious and wants Silva on his coaching staff because he believes his team would benefit greatly from training with the all-time great.

According to a report on UFC Tonight, Silva is also interested in teaming up with Sonnen. Apparently, Silva is looking to take a month off following his impending bout with Chris Weidman, but wants to help Sonnen coach afterwards. Silva's management seems to think it's a strong possibility that he'll participate in the show on Sonnen's team.

- The UFC recently announced the inclusion of the women's strawweight division into the promotion, which came as welcome news to fight fans, as well as women's bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey. Rousey explained during a recent appearance on UFC Tonight that she's looking forward to having another female champion to help carry the mantle for women's MMA.

"I'm super excited about it," Rousey said of the new division. "These girls are all super talented, charismatic, and super cute. The UFC has really recognized the value the women can bring, and is investing in them and thinking long term. I can't wait for a new women's champion and having some of the responsibilities and pressure be taken off of me. I could use a little help."

The new division's champion will be crowned after a season of The Ultimate Fighter that will focus only on the strawweight division.
