WWE Network Sound Off: Will You Subscribe?, PPV Habits, Will It Succeed?, Could PPVs Change?

WWE tonight officially unveiled the WWE Network. It is a huge announcement, which could have major ramifications if it fails. But if it succeeds, it completely changes sports on pay-per-view.

The WWE Network will launch live in the U.S. on Monday, February 24, featuring all 12 WWE live pay-per-view events ? including WrestleMania 30 ? as well as original programming, reality shows, documentaries, classic matches and more for $9.99 / month. It will be available on desktops and laptops via WWE.com and through the WWE App on: Amazon's Kindle Fire devices; Android devices such as Samsung Galaxy; iOS devices such as Apple iPad and iPhone; Roku streaming devices; Sony PlayStation 3 and Sony PlayStation 4; and Xbox 360. Availability on additional devices, including Xbox One and select Smart TVs, will follow this summer.

Will you be subscribing to the Network? Do you think people that otherwise illegally stream WWE pay-per-views will subscribe? Will the incentive be gone for WWE to go all out on pay-per-views (with the big sets, etc.) if it is a success? Will WWE hit a million subscribers this year that they will need to break even? Bear in mind that Monday Night RAW typically averages in the ballpark of 4 million viewers per week in the U.S., and the Network will only be available to fans in the U.S. until later this year.
