FOX On If CM Punk Story Is A Work, Bellator MMA Interested In Punk?, Gracie On Punk's MMA Chances

- FOX Sports has an interview with Rener Gracie at this link, who is the fiancee of former WWE Diva Eve Torres, about CM Punk's chances in MMA. Punk has trained with Gracie for the past four years and even wore a Gracie Academy hoodie to the ring at WrestleMania 29 last year. Gracie was bullish on Punk's chances and said that there was no limit to his potential if he were to dedicate himself full time.

"With the little time he's had with me spread out over so many years, he's made remarkable progress," Gracie said. "There's no telling how successful he would be if he devoted himself full time to the training."

- The FOX Sports article also questioned if the CM Punk story is a work. They stated that during the interview with Gracie, who is the head instructor of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy near Los Angeles, that Punk sent him a text message stating that he'll be in town in a couple of weeks and wants to roll. The story noted that Punk may be in California because RAW will take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 10th.

- If Punk does want to try his hand at MMA, there is at least one company that is interested in him. Dave Meltzer reported on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Bellator MMA wants to sign him. Bellator is owned by Viacom, which owns Spike TV, the home of TNA Impact Wrestling.
