WWE Superstars Recap: Big Divas Tag Team Match, Cody Rhodes Vs. Curtis Axel

Superstars opens this week with Cody Rhodes making his entrance with Goldust. Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton are on commentary.

Cody Rhodes (with Goldust) vs. Curtis Axel (with Ryback)

They lock up. Axel locks in a side headlock. He arm drags Rhodes. Axel locks in a waist lock. Rhodes breaks it and arm drags Axel. He dropkicks Axel. Axel kicks Rhodes in the stomach. Rhodes slams Axel to the mat. He locks Axel in a side headlock. Axel gets out and clubs Rhodes in the back. He slams Rhodes head first into the corner. Rhodes fights back and goes up top. Axel rolls outside. Ryback gets up on the apron for the distraction. Axel tries to attack Rhodes from behind. Rhodes clotheslines him outside. He goes up top, leaps off, and takes Axel out as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Rhodes slings Axel into the ring from the apron. He chops Axel in the corner and elbows him in the face. Axel comes back with a kick to the head. He elbows Rhodes in in the chest/neck. Axel strikes and kicks Rhodes in the corner. He keeps the offense up on Rhodes. Axel rubs his forearm across Cody's face and locks in his arm. Rhodes fights out, but Axel hits a clothesline. He kicks Rhodes in the chest and goes for the pin, but Rhodes grabs the bottom rope. Axel chops Rhodes in the corner. He sets Rhodes up top and climbs up as well. Rhodes punches Axel off and hits a moonsault.

Rhodes lands a pair of clotheslines and gets a pin attempt. He goes to the apron and hits a springboard missile dropkick. Rhodes kicks Axel in the gut and Ryback gets back up on the apron. Rhodes hits him with a disaster kick and Goldust pulls him off. Axel tries to roll up Rhodes, but Rhodes counters into Cross Rhodes for the win.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

Then, the opening to RAW between the Elimination Chamber participants is shown.

Back from commercial, and Cesaro vs. Cena from RAW is shown.

The Bellas and Natalya vs. Summer Rae, Tamina Snuka, and Eva Marie

Summer and Nikki start off. Nikki spikes Summer's head into her knee. Natalya tags in and runs over Summer. She kicks Summer in the face. Nikki tags back in and dropkicks Summer in the face. Summer mounts some offense. She takes Nikki to her corner and Snuka tags in. She chokes Nikki with her boot. Summer tags herself back in and chokes Nikki with her boot. Snuka tags back in. Nikki battles back with strikes, but Snuka slams her to the mat. Summer tags in and locks in a leg scissors. Nikki gets out, but Summer kicks her in the face. She knees Nikki in the stomach. Nikki comes back with an Alabama slam.

Brie and Snuka tag in. Brie has the hot tag. She hits Snuka with a clothesline and a dropkick. Brie knees Snuka in the stomach, and then hits a running knee to the face. Brie goes up top and hits a missile dropkick. Summer and Eva break up the pin attempt, and Nikki and Natalya send them outside. Snuka hits Brie with a Superkick. She goes up top for the Superfly splash. Nikki tries to stop her, but Snuka kicks her away. Snuka leaps off and Brie moves. Brie lands her sitout facebuster for the win.

Winners: Natalya and the Bellas

Then, Randy Orton vs. Sheamus from RAW is shown to end the show.
