"@The305MVP suffered a torn meniscus during his last match. This morning, doctors deemed him unable to compete this Sunday!"

MVP commented on his removal from the match on his Twitter, stating that the knee injury was legitimate and that he was disappointment with the repercussions.

"My knee injury is legit," MVP wrote. "I'm very disappointed by the timing of this injury and the unfortunate repercussions that accompany it. Now to 'business'. I'm still the Director of Wrestling Operations for TNA. AND.... 'the board of directors' want a FAIR main event match!"

A replacement opponent for MVP will be announced later today.
