- WWE's website has a new poll up asking fans who's the best brawler – Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, Bad News Barrett, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Brock Lesnar or Luke Harper. With almost 20,000 votes cast, Ambrose is leading with 27% of the vote. Next is Reigns with 23% followed by Lesnar with 18% of the vote.

- ECW founder Tod Gordon turns 59 years old today. Also, today would have been the 76th birthday of wrestling legend Wahoo McDaniel.

- Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena in a Street Fight is the main event for this Saturday's WWE live event in Long Island. Bad News Barrett vs. The Miz vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Big E is also scheduled.
