Another PPV At Same Venue On Same Day As TNA BFG, News On Eric Young's Final World Title Defense

- Eric Young's final Impact Wrestling main event segment as TNA World Heavyweight Champion was not the show-low quarter-hour segment for the first time as it drew a 1.0 rating. The show-low quarter rating was a 0.96 and came for the first half of Abyss & Willow vs. Samoa Joe & Austin Aries vs. The Wolves. Impact opened with a 1.10 rating coming off the lead-in from Cops and as noted, drew an overall rating of 1.03.

- As noted, TNA announced that their Bound For Glory pay-per-view will take place on October 12th from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan in association with Wrestle-1. It should be noted that the more popular New Japan Pro Wrestling has an iPPV scheduled for the same day in the same building. The TNA event will likely be held in the afternoon while the New Japan show will be held at night.
