WWE NXT Results: Tyson Kidd's Last Chance At NXT Title, Hideo Itami, NXT Diva's Title Match

We start with a video package highlighting NXT Takeover II and last week's NXT.

NXT Diva's Title
Charlotte (c) vs. Bayley

Bayley goes for a series of pin attempts, all unsuccessful. Charlotte ends up reeling to the outside, slips back in and goes to work on Bayley's leg. The two fight for leverage on a backslide, but end up in a chain wrestling series in which Bayley gets the better of before landing an armdrag.

Charlotte gets aggressive and really targets the leg of Bayley, really working to set up the Figure 4. Commercial break comes and goes and Charlotte is still torturing Bayley's leg. Bayley fights up, tries to make a comeback, but gets her leg attacked yet again, with Charlotte slamming it into the steel post repeatedly. Charlotte puts her in the Figure Four, and Bayley is scratching and clawing to survive. Charlotte even bridges to add leverage, as Bayley finally reverses it until Charlotte gets to the ropes.

Bayley goes for a roll up, gets two. Charlotte hits a neckbreaker and follows up with Natural Selection to win a good match.

Winner: Charlotte

The Asension come out for a match between Viktor and Hideo Itami, but instead start a double team beat down on Itami. Referees are out as The Ascension lands a backdrop/top rope front elbow drop combo. The match never gets started as Itami is unable to compete. He's helped up by officials. Itami is selling the beating hard.

Footage is shown of Enzo training Carmella while Big Kass films. Enzo jokes around until she dropkicks him out of the ring. He and Kass are surprised as the segment ends.

Baron Corbin vs. Troy McClain

Total squash. Corbin stalks his opponent, hits the very impressive End of Days finish. 3 Count.

Winner: Baron Corbin

Tyson Kidd is being interviewed and says he'll take the NXT Title tonight. He's asked how he feels about getting the opportunity because his wife asked for it. He walks off, dismissing the question.

The Legionnaires challenge Enzo Amore and Big Kass for next week.

The Vaudevillains vs. Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan

Simon Gotch gains control until a tag in to Jason Jordan who runs him into the corner. Gotch still fights to the corner, and tags in Aiden English who hits a big neckbreaker before being caught off guard with a strike.

A tag in to Dillinger and he puts the boots to English but only gets a 2 count. Dillinger with a suplex attempt, English powers out, gets a two count and goes to Gotch for a hot tag, who cleans house.

Gotch with an airplane spin on Jordan, followed by one on Dillinger before he does a rolling Samoan Drop. English is tagged in and hits a senton for the win.

Winners: The Vaudevilliains

Titus O'Neil is shown at ringside, present to watch the main event.

Itami is backstage with a trainer icing his neck when former WWE superstar Funaki shows up and congratulations him on his debut. He says he has Itami's back against The Ascension.

Bayley is backstage being interviewed. She says she's getting better and better. Sasha Banks attacks Bayley and says she wants her shot at Charlotte.

NXT Title
Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd

Kidd works a headlock and hits a shoulder block. Tyson chants from the crowd early on as Neville looks frustrated.

Neville with a schoolboy roll up for two and back on the feet Kidd punishes Neville with heavy strikes all around the ring. Finally Neville gains the advantage with a scoop slam, a kick to the back and a punt to the chest of Kidd, who is outside of the ring before the commercial break.

Back from the break the two are deadlocked until Tyson Kidd stops Neville in his tracks as he tries to spring to the second rope. Kidd follows up with a head and arm figure four/armbar combination but Neville rolls over, only to be put in a triangle. However this pins Kidd's shoulders and he's almost beat. Neville fights out and counters the triangle choke with a powerbomb.

Neville hits his big series of kicks and sends Kidd to the corner, where Neville hits a big elbow but is caught by a spin kick from Kidd on the rebound. Neville blocks a German suplex and goes for a sunset flip, which Kidd reverses into a basement dropkick, and then follows up with a Code Blue, his old finish, for a two count.

Kidd goes to the second rope but gets kicked in the head, just as the crowd starts chants for both men. Kidd goes for a sunset flip bomb but Neville backflips out of it! Neville grabs Kidd and hits a sitdown powerbomb for two as the crowd chants "better than Batista."

Neville goes for Red Arrow, but Kidd was playing possum and rolls out of the way. Neville lands on his feet but gets caught in with the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Neville gets a rope break. Neville catches Kidd with a big kick, but when they end up outside the ring, Titus throws Neville down. Sami Zayn comes out and attacks Titus and encourages Neville to get in the ring, which he does at a nine count.

Inside the ring, Neville counters a superplex and hits Red Arrow for the win.

Winner: Adrian Neville

Neville and Zayn lock eyes as the show ends. Kidd gets no more shots at the NXT Title as long as Neville is champion.
