Update On TNA Reportedly Making CM Punk An Offer, More On Punk At OVW Event

We noted yesterday that The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that TNA officials had reached out to CM Punk through an intermediary and made a major offer for him to come to the company.

For what it's worth, PWInsider reports that TNA sources they spoke to say there is no truth to the report on Punk. One commented, "No offer was made, officially or via an intermediary – no truth to that rumor."

They also confirm the report from a Reddit user earlier this week that while Punk was in attendance for the Ohio Valley Wrestling event over the weekend, he was never in the locker room. Punk arrived earlier in the day and went right into OVW owner Danny Davis' office.
