Another Report For Last Night's WWE Event In Macon: Dean Ambrose Headlines, Maddox Loses Twice, More

Here are the results and some notes from the WWE LIVE House Show that took place at the Macon Centreplex Coliseum on 10/11/14.

Match 1 saw R-Truth go over Fandango in about 8 mins. Nice solid match that had a couple mistakes but, Truth had the crowd from the beginning and they were hot!

Match 2 surprisingly gave us somebody we haven't seen in awhile... Former referee/Raw General Manager Brad Maddox came to the ring in wrestling gear and said that he had lost it all and "all you people wouldn't understand how it felt to fall on hard times!" He went on to say that "he was sitting on his couch in North Carolina and they called and offered him a job but, he had to start at the very bottom." He said That he was going to go through every wrestler the WWE has until he gets back to the top. Out comes Zack Ryder. They put on a great match. Ryder goes over in about 10 mins after Maddox tries to cheat.

Ryder leaves and Maddox refuses to leave the ring says he wants another match. Wants the biggest, baddest, strongest guy in the back. Out comes the Great Khali. Maddox wants no part of him but, the bell rings and Match 3 begins and ends with 1 big Khali chop and a 3 count.

Match 4 was voted to be a 6 Diva Dance Off by results of a fan's choice vote. During the face's Dance, the heels attacked and began to leave that's when Brie Bella got the mic & ripped into Nikki and compared her to Stephanie etc. We finally have our match. This went about 10 minutes from the bell and had some good spots from the ladies. Emma, Natalya, & Brie over Alicia, Cameron, & Nikki. Brie Had the crowd hot with yes chants on a few occasions. My daughters and I met Nattie before the show. True class act.

Match 5 saw Rusev and Lana come out & do their usual stuff and give it to the crowd, America, The Rock, & The Big Show the most. Rusev said he's going to make his opponent tonight, pay for Rock & Show. Out comes Zeb & Swagger. We get to see this match again. A little too repetitive for me between TV & pay per views. It's a 7 minute Deja Vu as Swagger Taps.

Match 6 is for the IC TITLE. Fans of old time wrestling would've appreciated the first 5 mins of this match as Swagger & Cesaro matched each other hold for hold before they started going for the bigger stuff. Ziggler is a good talent but, I just felt like Cesaro was working down to Dolph's level tonight. I say that and it was definitely one of the better matches on the card but, something was missing. This was the point where the crowd started to die, as well. Cesaro played his heel role well by using the ropes for extra leverage during the abdominal stretches but, Ziggler won clean around the 14 min mark.

15 minute intermission and back with Match 7 Adam Rose over Damian Mizdow at around the 6 minute mark. It was nice to see Rose in the ring for longer than 45 seconds but, I still felt like I wanted more since Mizdow threw him out of the ring a lot. This kid did something to get called up to the main roster but, he and Bo Dallas are both being killed in storylines.

Match 8 Tag Team Title Match Gold & Star Dust over The Uso's It wasn't clean as the Dusts used some illegal double teaming to win. The Uso's had to work hard after their initial pop to get the crowd back in it but, they finally did about midway through the match. The match was great. Wild and all over the place as we've come to expect from these teams. Lots of hot tags and high spots. Great match.

9th Match Main Event Macon Street Fight Dean Ambrose over Kane. These guys each went through a table, Kane 2. They took chair shots, stair shots, shots with the Kendo sticks it was great and the crowd was DEAD! I felt awful for Kane & Dean. They were really working hard out there. Dean kept trying to get the crowd behind him or something but, Nope. 1 spot when Dean and Kane went to the top rope together the crowd started to cheer. Also when somebody went through a table. Just a shame. After the match, Ambrose celebrated a little extra with fans ringside.

My 16 year old daughter is a huge Ambrose fan and my 9 year old a huge Nattie fan. We got to the arena a lil early and met Nattie and got a pic and an autograph. So many wrestlers said they would come sign after the show. Nobody did except Dean Ambrose so, my other daughter who was sad about missing him before the show, met him after.
