Conor McGregor On UFC Signing CM Punk, No Cyborg Vs. Ronda Rousey?, Big Lawsuit Coming

- Many UFC fighters have been outspoken about former WWE Champion CM Punk's sudden move to the UFC, but rising star Conor McGregor is open to the idea, but isn't sure the UFC is going about it the right way.

McGregor told Severe Art "If you bring something to the table, you get a seat. You must show up to compete. He has a different fanbase, and it's a little weird to me that they let an amateur come in. It's hard to say what his skill level will be. Brock even had one or two fights in a smaller league. I don't think he should be in this league yet, but if you bring asses to the seats and eyeballs to the screen we'll give you a shot."

- According to Bloody Elbow, several fighters are banding together to sue the UFC, alleging that the UFC has violated antitrust laws by abusing their "market power" to intentionally and systematically cripple the free market. A press conference is planned for tomorrow in San Jose, California to announce the lawsuit.

- Women's MMA juggernaut Cris Cyborg put the kibosh on a planned move to bantamweight, effectively ending any real hope of a fight between her and UFC Champion Ronda Rousey.

"I can't. From now on, I will only fight at my weight or in a catchweight," Cyborg told Tatame on Monday. "I haven't fought in a long time and that's why I want to go back to my division."

Cyborg also accused UFC President Dana White and Rousey of not wanting to make the fight. Dana White has stated previously that he would evaluate the idea once Cyborg showed she could make the bantamweight limit.
