A sleek-looking TNA knockout promo airs to hype up the Gail Kim/Taryn Terrell bout.

Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrel in a Six Sides of Steel bout.

Kim goes after Terrell straight away, but the Dollhouse interfere. Taryn hits Kim with a sweet-looking Stinger Splash in the corner. Gail counters with a flapjack but only gets a two count. Things get very vicious, with Gail bouncing her foe's head off the cage at one point. This is very brutal for a women's match. Marti and Jade tie Gail's hair to the cage and Taryn then smashes Gails' hand on to the cage. It looks like she broke Gail's wedding ring finger. Taryn goes for a pin but only gets a 2 count. Gail fights back, but the Dollhouse stop her from leaving. Taryn hits the cutter for the win. Fun match.

Winner: Taryn Terrell.

Kong comes out with a chair but she can't get into the cage. Taryn takes off Gail's wedding ring, licks it, takes it and beats her down some more. Kong smashes the chair against the cage.

We head for a commercial.

We come back to Al Snow and Josh Matthews discussing Kim's broken ring finger. "Gail Kim has a family!" Josh Matthews exclaims melodramatically, to help get this angle over. Dude, it's only a finger. We then get a recap of the parking lot brawl as well as one of all the Magnus/Mickie/Storm shenanigans. Matthews pushes the "adult nature" of the TNA product.

We see Mickie James in the ring. She says she's coming back for one more match but all the problems with Magnus and Storm make it very hard. Then Storm strolls down to the ring. She apologizes for Magnus hitting him with the guitar. Storm says she doesn't need to say sorry. Storm says he understands why Magnus did what he did. Mickie tells everyone Magnus is simply trying to protect her. Storm disingenuously says he's a nice guy and a total gentleman. The crowd really hate Storm here. Storm then talks about getting Mickie meetings with "country music people." He also talks about her last match. Mickie says she'll "see them in Nashville." Good segment and Storm is definitely coming off as very evil and manipulative in this angle.

Josh tells us Eric Young and Kurt Angle have been disciplined and locked into rooms adjacent to each other. Is that legal? Taking employees hostage? I wonder.

We see Angelina Love backstage. She tells us she intends to address the Velvet Sky situation and deal with it herself.

Kenny King calls MVP and is annoyed he's not at the building yet. He's furious about his title loss earlier in the evening.

Angelina Love comes out. Velvet is in the crowd. Angelina says she has her own "personal security team" who will kick out Velvet if she so much as touches her. She calls Velvet a "fired freak." Velvet just stares at her, stoney-faced and silent. Just as Angelina is leaving, Velvet attacks her from behind! What abysmal security Angelina has, she should fire her. They couldn't protect her from Velvet or anything.

We see Ken Anderson backstage. He shows the cage he intends to put Tyrus in when he fight Ethan Carter III next.

Ken Anderson vs. Ethan Carter III

Anderson manages to lure Tyrus into the cage by hitting him with chair shots. Tyrus locks himself in to avoid any further punishment. Now it's just him and Carter one on one. Anderson runs wild with clotheslines while Carter attempts to fight back by raking the eyes. Anderson hits a powerslam but only gets a two count. He hits a back drop, but Carter kicks out very easily. After crotching Ken on the ropes ECIII hits a Sting Splash but Anderson counters with a Finlay roll and a Swanton bomb. He goes for the pin, but he only gets a two. Anderson goes for the Swanton again, but Carter counters with the one percenter for the three count.

Afterwards Anderson wants to shake hands but Carter sort of brushes him off.

They air an ad for Awesome Kong. We see Rockstar Spud gushing about how happy he is to win the X division belt again. He hints at something major for Destination X. Now it's time for tonight's main event. Young and Angle both come out with tons of security. I liked this. It got them over as a big deal.

Eric Young vs. Kurt Angle (champion) for the TNA World Title in an 'I Quit' match.

The two are going after each other viciously, even before the match begins. The security dudes smartly get out of there. Things end up on the floor where Young goes after him with several brutal-looking chops. They get back in the ring and brawl. Young rakes the eyes. Angle hits several German Suplexes on Young. The ref asks Young if he wants to quit, Young emphatically says "No!" Angles suplexes him again.

We go to commercial.

When we come back Young is using Angle's brace against him as a weapon. Young hits the figure four, Angle tries to fight back but Young strengthens the move. Young uses Angle's own Ankle lock against him but Kurt still refuses to quit. Young hits another lock, but Kurt counters with the figure four. Young taps out...but hasn't vocally said he has quit yet. Angle releases the hold which turns out to be a major error since Young low blows him. Young hits the piledriver on Angle. Angle still refuses to quit. Young says he will break Angle's neck. Angle tells Young to kiss his a**! Young goes for another piledriver but Angle counters with the anklelock.
