WWE Judgment Day: Jeff Hardy vs. MVP
May 18, 2008
By Raj Giri, WrestlingInc.com Staff
Jeff HardyMVP started to make his way to the ring. MVP noted that he was slighted being left off the card and demanded a match. He challenged anyone from the back and Matt Hardy's music hit. Hardy came out and said he's already proven that he's better than MVP, so he introduced Jeff Hardy. Thankfully, I think that also means that Mark Henry vs. The Big Show if off the show.

MVP vs. Jeff Hardy
The two went back and forth early on. A few minutes into the match MVP gained the advantage and started working over Hardy's arm. He continued to work over Hardy's arm for several minutes and then hit a big kick to Hardy's arm, knocking Hardy out of the ring.

After dominating for a few more minutes, Hardy was able to reverse a playmaker and gain the advantage. He missed the swanton and MVP went to hit a kick again, but Jeff countered it and hit a whisper in the wind to get the three count. Not a bad match, but nothing special.

Winner via pinfall: Jeff Hardy
