As reported earlier, Marty "The Boogeyman" Wright was rehired after previously being fired a few weeks ago. Booker T was the individual who pushed for his re-hiring. The Boogeyman is supposed to be a "Booker project" as he will be training mid-week, every week at Booker's wrestling school in Houston. Also, one company source is saying that there was an implied race card used in Wright's rehiring, and the company felt vulnerable to it right now due to the Cryme Tyme act getting negative publicity.
Apparently, there were some websites reporting that Harry Smith had failed a drug test. Those reports have been confirmed to be false. However, Smith has been off the road since early September as it is believed that the WWE creative team has nothing for him.
Thus far, The Marine has pulled in $8,063,887 (through Tuesday). The movie pulled in $464,314 on Monday and $460,799 on Tuesday. The Marine cost $23 million to make and it needs to generate approximately double that amount to simply break even.
