Sting defeated Jeff Jarrett at Bound for Glory in the Career vs. Title match for the NWA Heavyweight Championship. Sting showed up looking quite different than the last time we saw him on TNA television. Having lost more than 20 pounds, Sting looked to be in his best ring shape in many years.
He came out to his same TNA entrance music. His new look is like a habrid of his past "Surfer Sting" and "Crow" characters. Like Surfer Sting, he wore black and red pants tights with a scorpion on the side - no longer the full bodysuit. He wore a long glittery robe to the ring like back in the day and his facepaint was mostly white with black and red. His physique is very lean and he did have more agility than in past matches. Overall the Sting character has been significantly freshened up compared to the played out Crow look.
