According to at least one backstage source, the reason that WWE officials made the decision to make a last minute change to the No Mercy main event was because no one bought that Lashley would be able to draw by himself. WWE feels that Batista is their biggest draw on SmackDown and the thinking is that by adding him to the main event it will help the events buyrate. It should be noted that it was originally planned for Batista to take one King Booker to headline No Mercy, until it was changed to King Booker vs. Lashley. Now the main event for Sundays PPV is Finlay vs. Batista vs. Lashley vs. King Booker in a Fatal Four-Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Catcher for the Detroit Tigers, Ivan Pudge Rodriquez, comes out to the late Eddie Gurrereos Latino Heat theme music when he is up to bat. Rodriquez said that the team DJ selected the music, not him.
Brooke Hogan graces the cover of the November issue of FHM Magazine. In it, several wrestling references are made as she claims Randy Orton is hot and she at one time considered Randy Savage, Jimmy Hart, Brian Knobs, and Brutus Beefcake her uncles.
