Batista has been flown in and is backstage at the SmackDown! taping right now.

The plan before when Batista tore his lat was to give the title to Randy Orton but Batista wanted to work though the pain. It is expected that he will either lose the title tonight in a short match or they will do some sort of tournament.

There is no heat of Mark Henry as it was a planned spot. If anything, Batista is to blame for trying to work through the first lat tear although he did it because he was champion and didn't want to cause any issues.

Early word is that Batista is expected to be out several months and WrestleMania is unlikely.
