Last night at the Deep South Arena in McDonough, Georgia, Gymini captured the DSW Tag Team titles. Gymini, who had a brief run on Smackdown, is now being managed by developmental diva Angel Williams. Williams had been rumored a few months back to be called up to the main roster.
Based on Nielsen's fast national numbers, last nights Smackdown scored hours of 2.5 and 2.7, for a 2.6 composite rating. We will find out the final rating early next week.
Former WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus appeared at the IPW (International) Wrestling Show. This was a free show to the IPW fans for the holidays at the Riley Center. IPW had attempted to have Trish at the last show but some things fell through. In case you are unaware, Trish along with a few other celebrities are currently in Muncie as part of a new CBS Reality show being taped with the Muncie Police Department called Armed and Famous. There was a film crew at the show.
