Ric Flair's absence from WWE television is due to what should be a very nasty divorce which is set to start pretty soon and apart from having an emotional effect, it may very well have a bigger financial impact on Flair. Last year his second wife Beth filed for divorce, citing alcohol and domestic abuse. Flair, who is in big trouble with the IRS for not paying over $1 million in taxes over the years, might have the fight of his life with this legal proceeding. Last year, the IRS took $200,000 out of Flair's salary to start covering the taxes he did not pay. (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)

Apparently MMA star Bob Sapp would have had Bobby Lashley's role had he signed with WWE. Wisely, Sapp didn't sign with WWE.

It was unclear if Hardcore Holly was actually pinned with a three count at the ECW PPV, or if he kicked out at two. We received reports in the building that people live was unsure about the count. The referee told Holly to leave the elimination chamber. Watching the PPV broadcast, it seemed Joey Styles wasn't sure about the decision until Holly had already left the chamber.
