Upcoming RAW house shows had been headlined by matches involving John Cena defending the WWE title, in some cases in three way matches against Kurt Angle and Triple H. The matches are not listed as title matches this morning on WWE.com.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that the WWE is interested in signing Jay Lethal to a contract. Lethal is a former ROH Pure Champion and debuted with TNA a few weeks ago losing to Samoa Joe. Lethal dropped the JAPW title Saturday night to Rhino in Rahway, NJ. Meltzer reports if they do sign Lethal, it is likely that it will not be a developmental deal and one idea is to pair him up in a tag team with the returning Charlie Haas.
As noted last night, in Edge's first interview as WWE Champion in the back parking of the Pepsi Arena in Albany, NY, he promises live sex in the ring on RAW.
