It appears Shawn Michaels will be leaving the full-time road schedule of WWE. Michaels would prefer to be a specialty performer.

In WWE TV news, it appears the current contract with the new CW Network for Smackdown runs until August 29, 2008. Saturday Nights Main Event on 3/18 from the Cobo Arena in Detroit will air live on NBC from 9-11PM ET.

USA issued a press release plugging that the network was the #1 basic cable network to kick off February thanks in part to RAW's strong ratings.

Three new WWE DVD's were released yesterday. These are 'New Year's Revolution 2006', 'Bloodsport: ECW's Most Violent Matches' and 'WWE 2005 PPV Rewind'. The 'WWE 2005 PPV Rewind' features all the pay-per-views from last year in a collector's edition box. (thanks to Colin Vassallo)
