The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Jackie Gayda is standing by her belief that WWE fired her because she wouldnt pose for Playboy.
In 2004, WWE wanted both her and Stacy Keibler to pose for Playboy. Both of them said no. That spread turned into the one with Sable and Torrie Wilson. Then WWE did some vengeful booking and put Keibler and Gayda into an angle where they were jealous of Torrie Wilson and Sable for being in the magazine.
Gayda was released about a year later after not getting any major storyline spots.
