WrestleMania bound February 24, 2006

On the heels of No Way Out, the Road to WrestleMania continues for the SmackDown Superstars when Friday Night SmackDown rolls into Richmond, Virginia, this week.

At No Way Out, Randy Orton defeated Rey Mysterio to win Reys main event opportunity at WrestleMania 22. After the match, Rey emotionally apologized to Chavo & Vickie Guerrero, saying he had let the family down. This Friday night, Rey will speak to the fans about losing his dream and his WrestleMania title shot.

Mysterio & Orton will be on opposite sides of a Six-Man Tag Team Match this week as well, as Rey, Bobby Lashley and new United States Champion Chris Benoit take on Orton, JBL & Finlay.

Also at No Way Out, Matt Hardy & Tatanka accepted MNMs open challenge and defeated the WWE Tag Team Champions in a non-title match. On Friday Night SmackDown, the two teams will meet again, this time with the championship on the line. Can Hardy & Tatanka make it two in a row and take home the gold, or will MNM get the victory when it counts most?
