According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vampiro, a former WCW World Tag Team champion, was hospitalized this past week with a herniated disc in his neck, which was cutting off a nerve. Vampiro is undergoing therapy in an attempt to avoid surgery. Vampiro is hopeful the Wrestling Society X project gets off the ground. Vampiro, who has been wrestling on a regular basis for Antonio Pena's AAA in Mexico, recently extended his contract with Wrestling Society X until 7/7. Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, Aaron Aguilera and Alter Boy Luke have also extended their Wrestling Society X contracts.

As noted, Ric Flair vs. Edge has been booked for Monday's night in Rochester, NY.

Speaking of TV, WWE will produce a syndicated show called "WWE Classic," which will feature many of the video libraries recently purchased by the company.
