STING ADVANCES TO THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN MATCH Sting defeated Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner by disqualification on Thursdays iMPACT! following interference by Jeff Jarrett, leading to Sting advancing into the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary. Sting was attacked after the match by Jarrett and Steiner, but NWA World Champion Christian Cage, The Truth and Raven all came to Stings aid. Now, the King of the Mountain match is set  with Christian Cage defending against Jeff Jarrett, Sting, The Truth, Raven and Abyss!

SAMOA JOE VS. SCOTT STEINER ANNOUNCED FOR SLAMMIVERSARY! Following his bout with Sting, Scott Steiner held the Impact Zone hostage, that is until The Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe hit the ring! Joe and Steiner erupted into a brawl, with TNA staff and security finally separating the two stars. Later that night, the new face of TNA management (who debuts at Slammiversary) signed Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner to take place at the Slammiversary Pay-Per-View in one of the most anticipated battle between two wrestling juggernauts!

NASH AND SHELLEY SCOUT SABIN As promised, Big Sexy Kevin Nash and Alex Shelley arrived at iMPACT! on Thursday night to scout Chris Sabin in preparation for their upcoming bout at the Pay-Per-View. During the main event, Nash and Shelley appeared in the arena filming the bout and trading verbal shots with Sabin. What will happen Thursday night when Nash makes his X Division debut? Will Sabin take the opportunity to return fire?
