Last Thursdays WWE Friday Night SmackDown scored a 2.3 broadcast rating with a 4.5 share.

WWE will be preempted for two weeks in about a month on USA due to the US Open Tennis Tournament. The USA Network will be airing WWE Monday Night RAW from 11 PM to 1 AM on August 28th and September 4th.

Foxtel who are Australia's major Pay Television Provider have confirmed that ECW will air in Australia. Fox8 who are WWE's current programming channel have picked up the rights to screen ECW TV. The show will debut in Australia on Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m. (Eastern) starting on Saturday September 2, 2006.

In the Altoona (PA) Mirror features an article on Vince McMahon reporting that he will be paying for construction of a $2.3 million indoor tennis facility in Ebensburg, PA. It is reported that he is doing it as a gift to his mother, Vicky Askew, who lives in the area.
