According to The Ironton Tribune, Szatkowski and Brunk were pulled over on U.S. 52 at about 10:15 p.m for speeding. When troopers approached his vehicle, they smelled marijuana and performed a search of the car, finding 18 grams of marijuana, five Vicodin, and other prescription pain pills.

Brunk was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and had nine other pills that were not yet identified, but were said to be controlled substances, according to the OSHP. Both posted bond and were released and are both scheduled for a Thursday 10 a.m. court date in Ironton Muncipal Court.

Meanwhile, WWE's Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy clearly states that any talent arrested for possession of drugs is subject to immediate dismissal:

13. DISCIPLINE FOR VIOLATION OF LAW

Any Talent who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of prohibited drugs will be in material breach of contract and subject to immediate dismissal.

Considering that Szatkowski and Brunk are the two biggest stars on the ECW brand, it should be interesting to see what kind of action WWE will take with them. WWE.com reports that Rob Van Dam and Sabu arrived at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia at 1:30 p.m. today and immediately went into a meeting with Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis.

Following the meeting, Mr. Laurinaitis told WWE.com that Rob Van Dam and Sabu will be eligible to compete tonight on RAW and tomorrow night at ECW on Sci Fi while an ongoing investigation is being conducted by World Wrestling Entertainment. The two men will be appearing in court Thursday morning at Ironton Municipal Court.
