-- G4 is reporting that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has backed out on his announced film role. He will no longer be apart of the scheduled Spy Hunter feature film that has been in development for some time.
The network quoted Jeremy Bolt, producer of the show, as saying Johnson was no longer with the project. The former WWE Superstar took part in a Spy Hunter video game last year which was released for Midway Games. His picture was used on several marketing campaigns promoting the film's future release.
At this point we aren't sure why he parted ways with the project. We will have updates for you as information becomes available.
