With its ever increasing popularity, MMA has never been more of a competitor to the WWE product and the possible MMA stipulation at Cyber Sunday in the Matt Hardy, MVP match is said to be a piece of market research.

WWE are curious to know how many fans vote for the MMA stipulation in order to determine its popularity compared to a regular wrestling match. This doesn't mean next week on Smackdown we'll see WWE doing UFC style fights, but it may make WWE acknowledge MMA further down the line.

Most of management are safe in their belief that the WWE fans will vote a good old fashioned wrestling match and shut the nay sayers up.
