Due to the writers' striker in Hollywood, there has been talk that NBC would approach WWE about holding some extra Saturday Night's Main Event programs. New episodes of Saturday Night Live halted as soon as the writer's strike went into effect because they write material up until the day of the show. The Rock was scheduled to appear on the 11/3 show, but it had to be cancelled due to the strike.

WWE.com is reporting that an announcement will be made on Thursday on who will face Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch for the World Tag Team Titles at Survivor Series. They taped a match last night at Raw featuring The Highlanders, Paul London & Brian Kendrick and Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes (we don't have a result as of now).

There is a WWE.com article about last week's Friday Night Smackdown being #1 for The CW in the 34 years old and younger demographic beating out ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX.

TNA has posted the opening of the new "History of TNA: Year 1" DVD at TNAWrestling.com. I received an advanced copy yesterday and must say it was a very impressive DVD, especially if you are someone who watched TNA from the very beginning. We should have a review up soon pending a few things.
