-- As reported earlier, Ryan Wilson, a 6-9, 280 pound wrestler working under the name "Jacob Duncan" in OVW was cut last week. At one point over the summer, there were talk of calling him up to the SmackDown roster to eventually work a progam with Undertaker. When Taker was out with an injury, the two giants did an in-ring practice session prior to a SmackDown taping and he gave WWE his personal thumbs up on Wilson. Vince was thinking about doing vignettes to introduce him and lead him to a winter feud with Undertaker. But when Taker returned from his injury, they pushed Duncan to the side so he could go back to working with Batista again. At the time of his cut, he was getting a major push in OVW. No word yet on why they suddenly gave up on him, but it seems like they just didn't have anything for him and spots on SmackDown are really limited.
