WM23 Huge Economic Success, SD!/ECW Update

WM23 Huge Economic Success, SD!/ECW Update-- The Detroit Free Press announced today, that according to a Toronto consulting firm WrestleMania 23 had a huge economic impact to the city by bringing in an estimated $29.7 million. The event also brought in an estimated $4.7 million in tax revenue for federal, state and local governments.

-- WWE has announced a SmackDown/ECW house show on January 7th in Elmira, New York. Batista vs. The Great Khali for the World Heavyweight Championship is being advertised for the show along with CM Punk vs. Mark Henry for the ECW Title. This same night RAW will be live at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT.
