From Matt: I live in Lewisburg, Pa. and was flipping through the channels and on Ch. 2 which is Wyou News, they had Jerry Lawler on the show with them taking questions. They also had a poll asking who was the best legend and Lawler won with 41%, Hulk Hogan came in second with 37%, Andre the Giant with 14%, and Roddy Piper with 7%. They were hyping that wrestling was coming back to Scranton and for $15 you could get a ticket, with tickets still left. One of the questions asked was who he thought was the best right now. He said Cena who is out for 8 months, Michaels for Raw and the Undertaker for Smackdown. He also said he doesn't get to watch ECW because that's his softball night.

From Shane Miller: During SmackDown a commercial aired for the Supershow house show taking place on November 17th in Fort Myers, Florida. Two big matches were announced. Randy Orton & Umaga vs. Triple H & Jeff Hardy, as well as a big six-man tag featuring Mark Henry, Finlay & Great Khali vs. Kane, Undertaker & Batista. Also, scheduled to appear is Ric Flair (possibly making his return?), Rey Mysterio, Mr. Kennedy, CM Punk, John Morrison, MVP, Matt Hardy and Candice Michelle. Those names were confirmed by a radio spot about three weeks ago. Obviously, Candice will not be there given her unfortunate injury. This show is the night before Survivor Series and the only house show that weekend.

News Limited out of Australia has an article on William Regal talking about Chris Benoit and drug use in professional wrestling entitled 'Chris Benoit drugs 'unusual' amongst WWE wrestlers'. In the article, Regal dispels the widely-held belief that professional wrestlers are nothing more than "drugged-up lunatics." We have strict (drug) testing going on," Regal said. "It's just unfortunate that everybody is jumping on the bandwagon and making us out to be the creatures that we're not." Regarding Benoit and a possible dip in WWE's popularity, Regal said, "Nobody in the WWE could have helped what happened to change the unfortunate ending to Chris Benoit's life and his family's life. If anybody would have known any different, we would have helped him. There have been a lot of live events since that tragedy and the same amount of people are coming in. They're sticking by us because they know this is not the norm."
