However this situation was a little different as it was over furry boots. Apparently Melina is the one who wears them on Raw and Brooke tried to wear them which lead to the confrontation. Vince McMahon was apparently quite upset at Brooke for her ignorance about the issue. There is belief Melina went to Vince herself to complain, which lead to Vince's decision to let her go.

Johnny Ace was a huge supporter of Brooke as he was pushing hard for her to stay with the company. She debuted with WWE as a funkette dancer when Flash Funk returned. Ace even paid for her dancing lessons as well. The angle never went through and Ace was pushed for Brooke's debut on all three WWE brands which later became a joke within the company because she was considered an expendable talent with not much going for her.
