Rob Van Dam returns on RAW

Rob Van Dam returns on RAWRob Van Dam returned to WWE on tonight's Raw 15th Anniversary episode defeating Santino Marella. We should know more shortly on whether the return is full time, or if it was just a one time appearance. However, after the match, his profile page was uploaded onto the WWE Alumni roster on WWE.com as opposed to the Superstars section.

Van Dam had recently been critical of Triple H in the UK's Power Slam magazine, saying "I had problems feeling compatible with him on any other level other than the fact that we're both wrestlers. He would be one of the last guys you would see sharing a car with me. If we weren't both wrestlers, I doubt I'd have anything in common with him." (full article)

Van Dam has had his own online TV show called RVD TV, where he had clips of him working out with Samoa Joe which fueled rumors that Van Dam may be TNA bound.

Van Dam last wrestled in WWE on June 3, 2007 at the One Night Stand PPV, defeating Randy Orton by pinfall. Orton attacked Van Dam after the match, giving him the kick to the head that was the storyline reason for Van Dam's departure. He is scheduled to wrestle for TNA star Booker T's PWA promotion on Friday, December 28, 2007 in Pasadena Texas.
