News On 'Mania, Benoit, SD!, Ultimate Warrior, & More News- Time Magazine listed the Chris Benoit family tragedy as the eighth worst crime in 2007.

- DetNews.com mentioned today that WrestleMania 23 brought $30 million to the Motor City as the event was among the financial highlights of the year for the city of the Detroit. This is the kind of press that WWE enjoys as they are trying to morph WrestleMania into an event that cities bid to bring to their area, much like the Super Bowl. WWE has invested a lot of money researching the spending habits of those that travel to their flagship pay-per-view.

- The Sacramento Bee listed WWE Friday Night SmackDown as the 7th worst show on television of 2007.

- Former WWE star Ultimate Warrior recently posted his first blog in several months on his official website. He rants on the Internet, talks about his back hair and seeing an Indian souvenir shop in the Carolinas selling steroids. Warrior wrote, "Must be that steroid study I’ve been conducting on myself since July. I was in the Carolinas just after the Benoit incident, you know. And I stumbled across that huge extra stash of steroids he had stockpiled. Yeah, weirdly enough, I found them at one those indian souvenir shops, sitting right next to a bunch of firecrackers."
