A high definition website reports that the WWE Royal Rumble will be the first WWE PPV to be presented in HD.

From Adam Lebow: During the Pacific Prime edition of TSN Sportscenter (which replays as the morning edition), co-host Jay Onrait was introducing the Sportscenter Top 10, which was themed around a team or player being 'perfect'. In his introduction of the Top 10, which showed perfect playoff runs and perfect pitched games, Onrait stated that (paraphrahed) "the Top 10 will not include professional wrestler Curt Hennig who wrestled as Mr. Perfect but does include a football team that was perfect."
